I’m trying to gather, magnify, and shine light.

What are you trying to do?

An impossible dream came true for me when I was included on the list of therapists recommended by The Tools authors, Phil Stutz and Barry Michels. You can listen to my interview with Phil Stutz back in 2017.

I’m licensed to practice psychotherapy in New York and Indiana. And thanks to the Counseling Compact, I can also provide psychotherapy to folks in these states!

Testimonials:

“2 sessions in and I already feel like Denis is a great fit for me. He’s already given me a handful of tools that I’ve really connected with, and in our sessions I feel supported & heard. Highly recommend!”

“HANDS DOWN the most thorough, relieving, and enjoyable sessions I’ve ever had !!! I’ve gone through a few therapists but Denis is truly something special. He uses unique techniques to address issues, asks all the right questions and truly makes you feel heard and understood.”

“Denis has helped me considerably as I've dealing with some old issues that have come back up. I've been to a few therapists through the year and I've never spoken with one who's been as empathetic and effective as Denis. I have made more progress in a few months with Denis as I had in years with other therapists. Each meeting we run through techniques to guide me through whatever issues are facing me. I've been able to use these techniques on a day to day basis to alleviate stress, stop panic attacks, and just all around keep me on a better footing. Truly highly recommended!”

“Highly recommended - Denis is insightful and supportive, offering effective tools for emotional and mental resilience. Very grateful to work with a professional invested in uplifting those around him!”

“Denis is the first therapist I've worked with who has just clicked. His approach is exactly what I was looking for.”

“Denis' calm and personable approach is just what I needed to work through my depression and anxiety. He gave me clear and simple tools to manage my mental health and helped me get my life back on track. I had some worries about how a counsellor would respond to my issues, and I couldn't be happier with Denis and the immediate ease I felt when speaking with him.”

Why a Lens?
Consider the lens of discovery. Microscope. Telescope. Magnifying glass (synonymous with mystery-solving). Focusing. Correcting! Distorting? ...your powers of attention. Now you notice the unnoticed.

Consider also the lens of creation. Bringing artful narrative to life. Spotlight. Speaker cone. Camera. Magic lantern. Optical fiber.

What lens captures your story?
What lens projects your story?

You are a lens. Gather. Magnify. Shine.
